MAKE YOUR DAY:
CULTIVATING CREATIVITY

PRESENTATION AND CONVERSATION

In this  presentation, set with a slide deck of paintings she created during the pandemic, DiFranza articulates lessons learned during her year-long daily creative practice, and inspires others to consider the roll of creativity in their lives. This dynamic public talk is for everyone, artists and non-artists alike. DiFranza examines the fundamental human capacity to create, addresses overcoming obstacles that block the flow of ideas, and explores how your everyday surroundings can spark your imagination and improve your life. The “Make Your Day” talk will include audience questions and responses, and an open dialogue about creativity as fundamental to all walks of life. (Follow-up workshops or consultations can be arranged if desired.)

LIVE PAINTING: CORPORATE
WELCOMING EVENT

Ohio based company Crawford Hoying held their 2021 Corporate Retreat at the Art Ovation Hotel in Sarasota, FL. Lisa DiFranza welcomed retreat participants as she painted live in the lobby. This 24"x 30" painting incorporated the company's retreat logo with the Sarasota skyline, and wove in words of the company's guests  as they arrived. The painting now hangs in Crawford Hoying's corporate offices.

SELF PORTRAIT PAINTING WORKSHOP

Painting workshops enhance and balance the experience of a corporate retreat. In this workshop, Lisa led these self proclaimed "non artists" in a one hour Self Portrait Workshop relating to the retreat's theme of authenticity in the workplace. The participants dove in and proudly took their paintings home.

LIVE PAINTING: RETREAT CLOSING PARTY

Lisa set up her easel early to begin painting the rooftop scene prior to the guests' arrival for Crawford Hoying's rooftop party, a lively celebration that culminated their weekend retreat. Lisa interacted with guests as they enjoyed discovering  themselves being added to the canvas. This 48" x 60" painting now hangs in Crawford Hoying's corporate offices.

EXECUTIVE TEAMBUILDING COLLABORATION WORKSHOP: PORTRAIT OF THE WORKPLACE

In this tailored workshop designed for an executive leadership team, Lisa sketched images from her workplace, to inspire the group to think visually about how they experience their daily work routines. Soon, the group dove in to create their own expressive sketches.

After lively guided discussion and collaboration, Lisa coached each participant as they painted their own  "Portrait of the Workplace." Through the process they enjoyed hearing each other's perceptions, discovering how their workplace looks  through the eyes of their colleagues, and building new understandings.

The group emerged with a stronger team, and some great artwork to take back to their office.

BRIDAL SHOWER WEEKEND PAINTING WORKSHOP

Lisa DiFranza created template canvases based on the bride's favorite photo of the couple. Over cocktails at Art Ovation Hotel, the bride, Asa, and her friends had a great time painting together, as they each created their own unique portrait of the bride and groom.
